John Vining was in victory circle at the Nasa Hallett Summer Shootout June 9th &10th.  This was a four region event.

For the final 40 minute race on Sunday, John was gridded 7th in class and 13th overall.  Six Porsche 944's were in the first group to take the green.  The second group included RX7's, Miatas, and BMW E30's.  John raced his Motul/Turbo Lubricants Allsion Legacy car to the front, and passed the 944's to win the overall Lightning class by 16 seconds, including fastest lap of the race.  All drivers in the field were adults, except for the 13 year old winner.

All winning drivers celebrated with champagne, John celebrated with Dr. Pepper.
